| Description: 7* students stand around the room, they are the Time Keepers. *you can adjust numbers depending on class size. They are given a secret time card – they can’t show others. The rest of the class have 5 mins to ask the Time Keepers: ‘What time is it?’ They write down the times they hear in the first column of the worksheet. When the time is up, the Time Keepers hold up their time cards and students can check answers. Swap the Time Keepers with a new group until everyone has had a turn being a Time Keeper. This is a good activity to practice saying and listening to numbers, especially the pronunciation of ‘13’ and ‘30’ etc. |
